AS Roma insists they will not lower their asking price for any of its player

The speculation that the Egyptian international, Muhammed Salah will be going to Liverpool is still a trendy news in the European soccer transfer news.

Muhammed Salah has been linked with a move to Premier League outfit Liverpool, after scoring 15 goals and assisting in a further 11 in his 31 appearances last season.

However, Roma have not reached an agreement with the Reds regarding a transfer fee, and Monchi insists they will not lower their asking price.

Monchi said, “for Salah, there is an offer from an English club but the price will be set by Roma, not the buyer."

“As I’ve said before, Roma is not a supermarket. Roma is a team that will represent Italy in Europe.

“We came second in Serie A and our idea is to keep as good a team as possible.

“At the same time no club exists that does not sell players.”
